Flu cases continue to increase across Pennsylvania and in Indiana County.
Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 50 cases of flu in Indiana County according to statistics for the week ending December 21st. No cases of RSV are being reported in Indiana County.
5203 cases of Type A flu have been reported across the state, while 184 cases of Type B flu were reported by the department. 3,583 cases of RSV have been reported this flu season so far. This represents sharp increases over the week across the state.
These numbers represent the total number of cases reported in that time. The true numbers could be higher as some areas do not report flu cases, and some people do not head to the doctor’s office and treat flu themselves.
