Lois (Yenerall) Hafer, 81 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her home. She was born November 23, 1943, in Derry Twp., PA, the daughter of the late Joseph Yenerall and Marie (Wall) Yenerall. Lois was a nurse’s Aide at Torrance State Hospital for over 30 years. She enjoyed making cookies and cakes for everyone she knew, decorating for the holidays and crafting, being especially creative with ceramics. Lois loved spending time with her family and supporting her sons in their Motocross racing.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Wolford & husband Mark, Latrobe, PA; son, Robert D. Hafer, Jr. & wife, Tracy, Blairsville, PA; daughter-in-law, Donna Hafer, Latrobe, PA; grandchildren: David Nicholson, India, Holly Vought & husband, Jason, Saltsburg, PA, Louis Wolford & wife, Christina, Johnstown, PA, Chad Hafer, Latrobe, PA, Zack Hafer & fiancée, Jenna Rosa, Export, PA and Maggie Hafer, Latrobe, PA and also her great grandchildren: Sebastian Vought and Mason & Owen Wolford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert D. “Mammy” Hafer, Sr.; son, Kevin Hafer and infant daughter, Tina Jo Hafer.
The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, from 3-7 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dawn Krishart officiating. Interment will be held in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, Pennsylvania.
