The high windstorms that rolled through the area last night caused several outages that are still going on at this time.
Penelec reports that currently 217 customers are without power. The majority of the outages are in Montgomery Township, with 154 reported. Conemaugh Township has 33 outages reported, and outages are also reported in Cherry Tree, Glenn Campbell, Indiana and Saltsburg Boroughs along with Pine and White Townships. No word yet on when power will be restored.
REA reports that one cooperative member in Green Township is without power at this time. The cooperative says power will be restored around 6:45 this morning.
