An Indiana man charged with assault is due in district court today for a preliminary hearing.
Court documents show 45-year-old Martin Louis Fike will go before District Judge Anthony Sottile today. He was charged in connection with an incident on January 3rd. Indiana Borough Police at the time said that he was engaged in a physical altercation with another resident in the house in the 300 block of South 13th Street. The fight resulted in minor injuries to the victim. He has been in Indiana County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash bail.
On top of the assault charge, Fike also faces counts of harassment and strangulation.
