Last night, the Armstrong-Indiana Intermediate Unit Board of Directors approved promoting Dr. Matthew Curci from interim executive director to the full-time position.
Curci is currently the superintendent of the Apollo-Ridge School District and has served as the interim director since the passing of Dr. Brigette Matson in the fall of 2024. In his time at Apollo-Ridge, he has also been an assistant superintendent, director of curriculum, principal and math teacher. He will now oversee the programs and services offered by the unit to the 11 member school districts in Armstrong and Indiana Counties.
Curci will start in his new position on or before July 1st.
