With the House and senate appropriations committees wrapping up budget hearings this week, the State Senate Majority Leader said he is not hopeful that the budget will pass on time.
Senator Joe Pittman agreed with State Representative Jim Struzzi about concerns over how much spending was in the Governor’s financial plan.
He said to deal with those problems, there will be a lot of work coming soon.
No word yet on when the general appropriation bill will be introduced in the state house and senate. Pennsylvania’s fiscal year ends on June 30th.
