After taking Wednesday off, the Pirates return to spring training action today against the Minnesota Twins in Fort Myers. Bailey Falter is scheduled to start for the Bucs.
The Major League regular season begins early again this year with a two-game series between the Dodgers and Cubs in Japan, and Opening Day will feature former Nippon Professional Baseball stars Yoshi Yamamoto on the mound for LA and Shota Imanaga for Chicago. The Dodgers have also named Japanese rookie Roki Sasaki to start Game Two. The series will also include Japanese-born stars Shohei Ohtani for the Dodgers and Seiya Suzuki for the Cubs.
