West Shamokin took a 10-0 lead into the bottom of the 4th and held on to beat Indiana, 14-11. Lean Mondi had 3 hits and 3 RBIs for the Wolves and Maya McIlwain had 2 hits, including a home run, and drove in 4. Cameron Vandervort, Avery Elkin, and Maddi Keirn had 2 hits for West Shamokin and Elkin and Malena Stewart homered. Indiana piled up 16 hits. Anna Carnavale, Hannah Ianarelli, and Rylin Blystone all had 3 hits for Indiana. Samantha Martin and Maggie Cunningham had 2 hits. Ianarelli drove in 4 runs.
Homer-Center stole seven bases and topped Northern Cambria, 7-1. Ava King and Kyhlee Beer each had two hits for the Wildcats and Beer stole three bases. King and Bekah Marshall combined in the circle to strike out eight for Homer-Center.
BASEBALL
Northern Cambria scored four runs in the second and third innings and three in the fourth to shut out Penns Manor, 11-0.
