Dana Raymond Davis, 73, of Homer City died Friday, March 21, 2025 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born June 24, 1951, Dana had always claimed he was the last baby born in Cokeville. He was a son of the late James and Bertha (Carmichael) Davis.
He attended school in Blairsville before moving to Niles, OH where he graduated high school. He was a Mechanic at the Tunnelton mines before he later owned and operated Roy’s Atlantic Service Station in Homer City.
Dana enjoyed bowling, golfing and softball. He treasured the times he spent with his family and simply liked working on cars and helping his friends.
He was a member of the American Legion, Graceton Coral Sportsman’s Club, the Red Barn Sportsman’s Club and the Blairsville Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, the former Tanya Kathleen Adair, whom he married May 20, 1978. In addition to Tanya, he is survived by his children: Heather Bekina (Frank), Lucernemines; Dana R. Davis, II (Kenzie), Cresson; Benjamin Davis (Chrisa), Cresson and Patrick Davis (Paige), Homer City. Dana is also remembered by ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a sister, Sandra Kijowski, Ohio
He was preceded in death by his parents; Sons: William Davis and Stephen Smithula; Siblings: Ronald, James, Gary and Daryl Davis.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Evergreen Cremations, Inc. of
