An Indiana man is due in court today to enter pleas to charges related to images of child sexual abuse.
Eric Palmer is charged with ten counts of child pornography and a single count of criminal use of a communications facility. Authorities were alerted in May of last year that illicit images were being uploaded to his personal Google Account. The account was traced to an IP address at a home where he reportedly lived. In September, he told police that the accusation was false, but a search of his computer turned up the images in a hidden folder.
This came as Palmer was serving as the executive director of the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. When the accusation was released, the board named an interim executive director. He has been free on $50,000 unsecured bail since last November.
