BASEBALL
IUP Baseball scored in the first and fifth innings yesterday and held on for a 2-1 win over East Stroudsburg on the first day of the PSAC Tournament. Au’Sean Owens led off with a double and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Elijah Dunn for the first run and Cayden Bender singled and later scored on a bases-loaded walk for the game-winner.
Seton Hill beat Shippensburg, 6-5 in ten innings and will play IUP in the second round today at 10 AM.
GOLF
IUP is the third seed entering today’s first round of the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Region Championship at Gannon.
TENNIS
The IUP men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams are at Slippery Rock today for the start of the three-day PSAC Championships.
