The NFL and Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the 2010s All-Decade Team, with 52 players and two coaches earning the honors.
Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was one of eight players unanimously voted to
the team, along with Adrian Peterson, J.J. Watt, Von Miller, Aaron Donald, Joe
Thomas, Marshal Yanda and Justin Tucker.
The Steelers had two players on the team, wide receiver Antonio Brown and center Maurkice Pouncey.
Former Pitt stars Larry Fitzgerald, Aaron Donald, Darrelle Revis, and LeSean McCoy also made the team.
To be eligible, a player had to have had been selected to the Associated Press All-Pro team, Pro Football Writers of America all-conference team or the Pro Bowl at least one time between 2010-19.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to all 32 teams that said league and club facilities will remain closed indefinitely and the draft April 23rd through the 25th will be in a fully virtual format. Club personnel will be separately located in their homes and will be able to communicate with one another and their draft headquarters only by phone or Internet.
The NFL is unlikely to extend its video review policy for pass interference, a source has told NFL.com. The league’s competition committee is set to have its annual late-May meeting, which remains on schedule. The committee will make a recommendation to the league’s owners, who will then vote on whether or not to retain the rule that was passed a year ago on a trial basis.
