The Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania recognized State Senator Joe Pittman with its first-ever Commitment to Healthcare award.
The honor was presented to the senator last week during the group’s Leadership Summit. The HHAP recognized his ongoing work for hospitals and patients, and for demonstrating a commitment to maintaining access to care in communities across the state.
Pittman said he was honored to receive the award, and said Hospitals and health systems in the community play a key role in improving the health and well-being of Pennsylvanians.
