State police are investigating a theft that happened last month in Burrell Township. Troopers say sometime between April 21st and 24th, a property on Main Street belonging to a 67-year-old Indiana man was burglarized, and the suspects made off with a roll of aluminum trim sheet, three saws, a compressor, a nail gun, a drill, a grinder and some extension cords, resulting in a loss of over $1200 worth of goods. No information was released on any potential suspects.
Charges are expected to be filed in a shoplifting case at Martin’s in Indiana. State police say the theft happened on April 30th as a 24-year-old Indiana Man walked out of the store without paying for over $270 worth of groceries.
Two people face charges of simple trespass for an incident during River Valley’s prom ceremonies. State troopers say a 40-year-old Saltsburg woman and a 17-year-old boy from Saltsburg disrupted the festivities on May 3rd at the High School. Charges were filed through District Judge Robert Bell’s office and the county’s juvenile court system. The identities of the two involved were not released.
