Two Indiana area schools have received the Governor’s Civic Engagement Award.
Both Indiana Area High School and Purchase Line Jr/Sr High School received the award at the gold level, meaning that 85% of eligible students were registered to vote in the PA primary election.
The Governor’s Civic Engagement Award is a Pennsylvania award presented by the Departments of State and Education to high schools and students who show great efforts in educating, engaging, and informing their peers about the voting process. Schools can earn either a gold or silver level award.
