West Shamokin took a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the fifth inning but South Williamsport put up three in that inning and scored another in the sixth to come away with a 4-2 win in the Double-A quarterfinals.
Malena Stewart was 3-for-4 and drove in a run for the Wolves and Briar McClafferty hit a solo home run. West Shamokin outhit the Mountaineers 9-7, with Avery Elkin getting two base hits, as the Wolves finished a 20-5 season one sort of reaching the Final Four.
