The Steelers’ three-day mandatory minicamp begins today, and it’s a first opportunity for quarterback Aaron Rodgers to work with the offense. He signed his one-year contract on Saturday and played in Cam Heyward’s charity golf outing yesterday, in a twosome with receiver DK Metcalf.
The biggest question mark of minicamp will be whether or not TJ Watt participates. The edge-rushing linebacker is entering the final year of his contract and is thought to be seeking a new deal that would pay him at least as much as Cleveland’s Myles Garrett’s new contract. Garrett signed a four-year deal averaging $40 million per year with $123.5 million guaranteed, the richest contract for a non-quarterback in NFL history.
Minicamp runs today through Thursday.
