Clymer firefighters were called out yesterday afternoon for a reported structure fire yesterday.
The Clymer, Commodore, and Cherry Hill fire departments along with the Hope RIT team were sent at 3:18 PM to a location on 6th Street in the borough. Fire officials said that the blaze was confined to the stove. Clymer borough police responded first and were able to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher before crews arrived. Crews stayed on the scene for a few more minutes to make sure the fire did not spread.
A vehicle accident was also reported yesterday at 3:29 PM on Cloe Rossiter Road in Jefferson County. That sent the Rossiter fire department out at the time.
And Indiana Firefighters were sent out just after midnight this morning for an Automatic Fire Alarm activation on Pratt Drive in White Township.
