Nearly 3,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed across Australia due to the brush fires, and there are still more than 100 fires burning across the country’s southeast, including a megablaze the size of Delaware. There’s also an all-out effort to save Australia’s animals impacted by the fires, with grassroots efforts to protect some of the country’s unique wildlife.
