PIRATES’ RODRIGUEZ PUT ON 60-DAY INJURED LIST

The Pirates did make a few roster moves yesterday, as catcher Endy Rodriguez was placed on the 60-day Injured List with right elbow inflammation.  The move was made to make room for new right-handed pitcher Michael Darrell-Hicks, who was claimed off waivers from the LA Angels.  He was then transferred to AAA Indianapolis.  The 27-year-old was designated for assignment on June 8.  In 2024, he went 1-0 with a 9.39 ERA in six relief outings and 7 ⅔ innings with the Angels on the year.
