State police from the Kiski Valley Barracks are investigating a theft from a West Penn Power location in Derry Township.
Troopers say that on June 18th, someone was able to break into the site on Hickory Avenue and steal $55,000 worth of copper wire and brass fittings from the utility company’s substation. A suspect has not been identified, but the investigation is ongoing.
