From the US National Weather Service
As the ridge of warm air begins to slowly weaken over the next 24-36 hours, thunderstorm chances will increase tomorrow.
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has placed portions of our region under a “Marginal” risk for severe storms, with damaging winds being the primary threat. Models have been hinting that storms could start to ignite between 1pm to 4pm tomorrow.
It’s worth nothing that thunderstorm chances are elevated (above 50%) from Tuesday through the weekend as the large-scale pattern shifts.
