Iran’s threat to close the Strait of Hormuz could disrupt world oil prices

Iran could attempt to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s key oil transit points, following U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. The Strait’s closing would directly impact international oil prices, but Secretary of State Marco Rubio says that would be “suicidal” for Iran.
