Marietta H. Foltz (Mo), Age 95, completed her earthly journey peacefully on June 21, 2025 at St. Andrew’s Village.
She was born September 27, 1929 to Kathryn Snyder and Claire Houck in Greensburg, PA.
Mo graduated from Indiana High School in 1948. Her multi-facetted working career included National Mine Service, The Indiana Evening Gazette, head book keeper at NBOC and retiring from Indiana County Hospice.
She was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, served on church council, and helped to cook meals for many years.
In her youth, Marietta, did not have time for hobbies. She did, however, make up for lost time as an adult. She loved music from many different genres. Big Band era, Classical, opera etc.
Her skill in knitting, Quilting and sewing were appreciated by friends and family alike.
She is survived by her son Rik Wissinger (Beverly), and daughter, Paula Tannacito. Three grandchildren; Scott DeGastro (Angie), Ian Wissinger (Stephanie), and BrieAnn Holmes (Dwayne). Great- grandchildren; JR, Caitlin, Ashli, Carly, Dylan, Christiana, Anaya, Victoria, and Isabella. And most recently, a Great-Great granddaughter; Hadleigh-Mae.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four husbands; Bud Mock, Paul Wissinger, William Pinkerton, and Mahlon Foltz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 2:00p – 4:00p and 6:00p – 8:00p at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory in Indiana.
A memorial funeral service will be held at a later date at Zion Lutheran Church in Indiana.
Mo’s family wishes to thank the staff at St. Andrew’s Village, Village House and Indiana County Hospice for their exemplary care.
