Butler County-based Giant Eagle is agreeing to a new contract with its workers’ union.
The union represents 34 Giant Eagle stores and nearly 5,000 workers across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The contract, which was approved by 94 percent of union members, will increase wages and will improve retirement and health benefits.
