Lane restrictions are in place for an ongoing resurfacing project at the Route 22/Armagh Bypass/Route 403 interchange in East Wheatfield Township.
There is a single-lane restriction and a 12-foot width restriction in effect for the duration of the project through the work zone. Any vehicles traveling on Route 22 that are wider than 12-feet will not be able to go past the Route 403 Exit when traveling eastbound and the Dishong Mountain Road Exit when travelling westbound. Vehicles wider than 8-foot 6-inches will require a special hauling permit to designate alternative route. Delays are to be expected and the work by Grannas Brothers, Inc. of Holidaysburg is weather dependent.
The $2.27 million project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2025.
