Trailing 9-7 after five innings, Homer City Post 493 scored three runs in the 6th and five more in the seventh for a 15-9 win over Bushy Run at IUP’s Owen J. Dougherty Field.
Bearcats batters banged out eleven hits and worked ten walks. Brayden Rado led the way at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles. Braden Dunn doubled twice and Devlan Kordish doubled and singled.
Jon Cribbs threw four-and-two-thirds strong innings and gave up all nine runs, but only two of them were earned as Homer City committed six errors. Dunn finished up the game and got the win.
