The Pirates traded reliever Hunter Stratton to Atlanta yesterday for minor league outfielder Titus Dumitru and cash. Stratton was designated for assignment last week. He’s spent most of this year with Indianapolis. Dumitru was hitting .231 at High-A Rome.
The Bucs also transferred pitcher Colin Holderman’s rehab assignment from Bradenton to Indianapolis. He pitched two-thirds of an inning and gave up two runs on three hits last night.
