Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi has released more details on the sentencing of 25-year-old Levi Kelly of Blairsville.
Kelly was sentenced in three cases yesterday. In one, he was accused of he was ordered to serve five months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail for stalking, while the attempted burglary charge brought a sentence of 34 to 68 months in state prison and two years of probation upon his release. Blairsville police said that he tried to enter a home on North Morrow Street through a window on June 29th of 2024. The person living there said they had a PFA order against him and he fled on foot when police arrived. He was apprehended a short time later.
According to Manzi, charges of stalking and false imprisonment were filed for an incident near her home. While he was stalking her, he grabbed her and tried to shove her into his car, but the victim fought back and freed herself before calling police. He had been arrested and released on bond.
In the third case, he admitted to uploading videos of the victim to adult content websites as revenge for calling the police.
Kelly will serve between 34 and 68 months in state prison and two years of probation. Other sentences at the Indiana County Jail will run concurrently with the state prison time.
Manzi complimented the victim on her courage, strength and resilience. He said “She never backed down and was ready for any court proceeding necessary to hold him accountable for his cowardly actions.” He also thanked Blairsville Police and the State Police for putting together the professional investigation in case the case went to trial.
