NIGHTTIME PAVING IN INDIANA BOROUGH, WHITE TOWNSHIP TO START NEXT WEEK

Road work will start next Monday in portions of Indiana Borough and White Township.

Parts of Philadelphia Street, South Sixth Street and Rose Street will be resurfaced in a project that will start July 21^st and run through August 15^th.  The specific zones include:

• Philadelphia Street from 9^th Street to East Pike
• South 6^th Street from Carter Avenue to Philadelphia Street

And starting on August 4^th, crews will work on Rose Street from Wayne Avenue to Oakland Avenue.

Crews from Quaker Sales out of Johnstown will mill, patch and pave those streets during the overnight hours from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, weather permitting.  Each road will be under a single lane restriction, with flaggers directing traffic.

This is part of a larger project that will also include ADA ramp replacements and additional work on Route 119.  The entire project will wrap up in October of this year.
