The Indiana County Republican Committee is looking for people to fill positions on the ballot for the upcoming general election.
Committee Chairman Randy Degenkolb said that the vacancies are due to recent resignations. The positions available are a four-year term on the Indiana School Board and a two-year term on Homer City Borough Council. Those interested should send a letter of interest to Degenkolb at indianacountygop@gmail.com by no later than midnight, July 24th. After the application period is closed, members of the committee will review applications to determine eligibility and hold a voting meeting on July 31st to vote for those to be put on the ballot.
