A man charged in connection with a drug bust in 2022 will be sentenced today in Indiana County Court.
Indiana County Judge Michael Clark will sentence 43-year-old Joshua Stumpf of Indiana for guilty pleas to possession with intent to deliver for his part in the investigation that started in May of 2022 at a home in the 200 block of Philadelphia Stret. In August of that year, Indiana County Drug Task Force members obtained a warrant and searched the house in an early-morning raid that netted 22 bricks of suspected heroin or fentanyl along with items used to package and sell the drugs hidden in a clock face. The search also turned up a shotgun barrel, cell phones used to make the deals, and $4000 in cash.
The guilty plea was made in January of 2024 but sentencing hearings have been continued on seven other occasions.
His co-conspirator in the case, 63-year-old Charles Wilcox of Northern Cambria, is awaiting a criminal call hearing on August 1st on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver.
