The Steelers have signed veteran Safety Chuck Clark to the roster.
The 30-year-old is entering his ninth year in the NFL and has been a starter since 2019. Clark took part in Friday’s short training camp session. Clark spent six seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, then spent a few with the New York Jets. Coach Tomlin said that he was familiar with Clark by playing against him, so he knows what he’s capable of and how well he will do.
Tomlin did not go into detail about the Steelers’ plans for deployment of Clark, saying that will play out over the course of training camp.
