Indiana County’s first responders dealt with four different calls for service on Friday.
Indiana Fire Association’s first of two calls yesterday was for the vehicle fire on South 6th Street in White Township at 8:07 AM. State police joined firefighters on scene. The second call was for a physical rescue on Zehner Road in White Township at 2:59 PM. Indiana County 911 termed the rescue as a “lockout” situation, but no other details were released.
The vehicle accident was reported at 4:38 PM on Route 119 in East Mahoning Township. Marion Center Fire Officials said in a post on Facebook that the crash happened at the intersection with Route 403 and required at least one person to be extricated from their vehicle.
The final call of the day was an automatic fire alarm activation for Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments and the Blairsville police department at 11:58 PM.
