Carolyn F. (King) Kinter, 77, of Indiana, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy King, and was on September 3, 1947, in Indiana.
She worked for many years as a CNA at Indian Haven and as a waitress at Sandy Kay’s. She enjoyed traveling, baking, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Carolyn was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She was someone you could ALWAYS count on helping you with just about anything. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carolyn is survived by her two sons Brad (Amanda) Kinter, of Indiana, Todd (Shinobu) Kinter, of Japan, two grandchildren Dylan and Olivia, one sister Dorothy Bothell, three brothers Bill (Johanna) King, Jimmy King, and Wayne (Joan) King, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Darwin Kinter in 2020.
Friends will be received by the family for a memorial gathering to celebrate Carolyns life on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 6-8 PM in the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
