Catharine A. Bressler, 83, of Home, PA passed away on 07/22/2025, she was born in Trenton, NJ.
Catharine was a school bus driver for 37 years for the Marion Center School District. She loved driving and impacted many young lives through those years. Her motto of “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” was told to all who rode her bus. You never went anywhere without someone saying “You drove my bus”. She also helped build and manage the successful business at Sam’s Tavern for 45 years.
Her greatest love was for her family. As the matriarch of the family, she showered all of us with so much love and affection. She loved spending time with her family and preparing meals. She was an example to the entire family of true kindness and love. She was a wonderful role model of positivity that we all can carry with us through our lives.
Catharine was proceeded in death by her beloved Grandson Zackery Bright and her parents, John and Helen Forrest.
Catharine is survived by her husband of 65 years, Samuel O. Bressler, her son Samuel E. (Sandy) Bressler, her daughter Suzanne (Scott) Grissinger, Grandchildren: Nick (Sarah) Bressler, Cynthia Bressler, Jacob (Jessica) Bright, Samantha Grissinger, and Boose (Megan) Grissinger. Great Grandchildren: Evan Bright, Lyla Bressler, and Brooke Bressler along with cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private graveside service was held at the convenience of the family.
Interment took place at Washington Church Cemetery.
