Cindy Kay Lockard, 67, of Indiana, died Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Communities at Indian Haven. Born in Cleveland, OH, January 1, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Miles T. Lockard, Jr. and Geraldine (Kantz) Lockard.
She was a 1975 graduate of Purchase Line High School and later from the former Cambria Rowe Business College in Indiana.
Cindy previously worked for Child Care Information Services, with locations in Indiana, Butler and Kittanning. She retired in December 2023.
She enjoyed traveling to craft shows, cooking for her family and friends and decorating her house for the various holiday seasons. She dearly loved her dog, Cocoa and will be remembered as a favorite aunt to her niece and nephews.
Cindy is remembered by her brothers: Gary Lockard (Debbie), Cherry Tree and Rick Lockard (Barb), Indiana. Her niece and nephews are: Ryan Lockard (Lauren); Garry Lockard (Christa); Zachary “Zach” Lockard; and Amanda Lockard (Fiancé, Travis Smith)
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her childhood brother, John Lockard.
Her memorial service will be held, Saturday, August 16th at 1:00PM at Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home & Crematory, Indiana. Pastor, Dick Motzing will officiate. A private burial will be held at Uniontown Cemetery in the village of Uniontown.
