A Kramer guitar used by Eddie Van Halen during an early 1980s tour is expected to bring in around two-to-three-million-dollars at auction.
The guitar is part of a “Rock and Pop” auction scheduled for October 24th as part of Sotheby’s “Grails Week.” Also up for auction will be items from the collections of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan.
Eddie Van Halen used the guitar during Van Halen’s “Hide Your Sheep Tour,” which took place after the release of their 1982 “Diver Down” album. The album featured covers of Roy Orbison’s “(Oh) Pretty Woman” and “Dancing in the Street” by Martha and the Vandellas.
