On Friday, Rural King held its ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their new location at the Indiana Mall.

The 87,000 square-foot store located in the former Kmart contains items from clothing to boots, shooting sports items to hardware, guns and ammo to light fixtures. The store’s General Manager Craig Hurd said that they were happy to join the Indiana community.
Indiana Mall General Manager Sherry Renosky said she and the community are thrilled to welcome them in, and they plan on being a part of a lot of events after today’s celebration.
Rural King’s district manager David Porter talked about what makes Rural King a successful franchise.
The brand got its start in 1960 when its first store opened in Mattoon, Illinois. It has grown to have stores in 15 states.
