GIRLS GOLF
Indiana High will play three girls golf matches on the road in three consecutive days this week and they started that swing yesterday with a 23 stroke loss to Armstrong at the Kittanning Country Club. Indiana shot its lowest score of the season, a 225, fifteen strokes better than their previous best. Playing just her third round of competitive golf, senior Julia Antonacci was the match medalist and carded the best round of the night with a score of 46. Liliana Manzi shot a 51, Lyla Pangonis a 62 and Laken Kugler a 66. For Armstrong, Drew Starr and Carly Toy each shot 47.
BOYS GOLF
Homer-Center’s boys outshot Northern Cambria at Chestnut Ridge, shooting a combined 217 to the Colts 243. Northern Cambria’s Zach Cavallo was the medalist with a 40. Homer-Center’s Jordy Arone was just a shot back at 41. The Wildcats’ Brayden Rado and Reece Coy both shot 43, Aiden Darr a 44, Ty Steffy a 46, and Noah Todd a 48. For the Colts, Luke Blickenderfer shot 43, Anthony Mountain 50, Matt Allen 53, Cayden Paronish 56, and Tyler Froedman a 63.
