A resurfacing project starts today in the northern part of Indiana County.
The project will run from today to the 26th on a portion of Route 119 between the intersection of Route 85 in Home and the Behm Road/Marshal Road intersection near Marchand. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers in place along the route.
Quaker Sales Corporation of Johnstown is performing the work on the project. It’s part of an overall refurbishment on Route 119, with work expected to be completed by the end of October of this year.
All work on the project is weather-dependent.
