The Pikes Peak Nursery fire was one of three arsons over a month’s time in Cherryhill Township. The first was in mid-July at the former kitchen and social hall at the Eastern Orthodox complex on Route 422. The other fire was a vacant duplex at the intersection of 422 and South Harmony Road. All three fires were ruled as arson by State Police Fire Marshals.
The Cherryhill Township Fire Department is offering a $5000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible. People are asked to call the state police fire marshals in Greensburg at 724-832-3256 or the state police tip line at 1-800-472-8477.
