The Indiana County Fair crowned the new Fair Queen for the 2025 season this evening.
Clare Lydic, a senior at Marion Center and Vice President of the FFA, was crowned following words from previous royalty, as well as queens from other county fairs. Lydic recapped how it felt to have her name called.
With this ceremony being just the beginning of all that the fair has to offer, Lydic says she’s excited to have a chance to see it all.
The Alternate Queen was also named, with the honor given to 17-year-old Sophia Daum, who said it was an honor to be selected.
