A Latrobe man was sentenced yesterday on child pornography charges.
According to court documents, 56-year-old Kevin McCoy was ordered to serve three months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail and two years of probation for a guilty plea to a charge of child pornography possession. He was also ordered to serve two years of parole for a count of criminal use of a communications facility. The parole sentences will run concurrently. The incidents went back to February of 2024.
Also sentenced yesterday was 50-year-old Brian Barr of Commodore for a guilty plea of child endangerment that goes back to incidents in January of 2014. The investigation started in July of 2022. He was ordered to serve 21 to 42 months in a state prison.
