A vigil for Charlie Kirk is going to be held this afternoon at the White Township Recreation Complex. Kirk was assassinated in Utah last week as he spoke at a college event.
Attendees are invited to arrive as early as 12:30 in the lower parking lot, with the event to begin at one o’clock. Among the speakers will be Blessings Mansallay, the president of IUP’s chapter of Turning Point USA, the organization founded by Kirk.
Organizers say state police have been notified and will be in the area. If you’re going, you are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket suitable for sitting on the grass.
