Last night on Hawk Talk on U92 radio and Renda Digital TV, IUP coach Paul Tortorella said his defense is really good and he’s looking forward to watching it work this season. The Crimson Hawks gave up only 130 total yards and held Lock Haven to minus-15 rushing on Saturday.
Tortorella appreciates that type of effort.
Quarterback Matthew Rueve threw for 365 yards and five touchdowns and he and backup Zayde Etheridge spread the catches around to eleven different receivers. Tortorella says he’s got a lot of good pass catchers.
IUP is 1-1 and will host 0-2 Millersville on Saturday at George P. Miller Stadium.
