Indiana Borough Council will meet tonight and three different grant applications are on the agenda.
The council will consider approving a resolution to apply for the Southwest Pennsylvania Commission’s Transportation Alternative Set Aside grant seeking funds for the Fisher Avenue improvement project. A second resolution will focus on a grant for Public Safety Upgrades from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Local Share Account funds. A third will approve an application from the same funding source for the Public Works upgrades.
Council will also consider approving the Minimum Municipal Obligation for 2026 tonight.
The meeting will start at 7:00 tonight at the George E. Hood Municipal Building on 8th Street in Indiana.
