White Township Supervisors approved advertising the repeal of some parking regulations in the township at their meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
Currently there is no parking allowed along Josephine Avenue in Chevy Chase. However, Township Manager Chris Anderson said that it may have to change due to an increase in park attendance.
The supervisors also approved GDP Group’s request for more funding towards the Indian Springs and Wayne Avenue traffic light project. The original contract was for $38,875, but Anderson said that there was some unforeseen work that needed to be done.
That work will cost an extra $3,391, bringing the total price tag for the project to $42,266.
The supervisors will meet again on October 22nd at 7 p.m..
