Jonathan James Pearce, Jr. “JohnBoy”/ “Uncle Rhino”, 34 years old of Marion Center PA died at his home Sunday, October 5th, 2025.
He was the son of Jonathan J. and Shelley (Goss) Pearce Sr., born January 30, 1991, in Johnstown, PA.
Jonathan graduated from Marion Center High School in 2009. He worked many different jobs but was often in construction/laborer. John loved to hunt, fish, scout deer, work on trucks and quads, but loved his son and being “Daddy to Doodle” most of all. John was known for making everyone smile and laugh. He will forever be remembered for his contagious laugh and as the kind, loving, compassionate man and friend to many we all know he was. Rest easy, JohnBoy. We’ll take it from here.
Tragically leaving behind his beloved son, Kayden James Pearce (Dad’s “Doodle”); his mother, Shelley Pearce; sisters- Destiney Tuskey (John) Lynzee Pearce, and Shana Bockelman (Jeff); nieces- Markie Pearce, Journey Tuskey, Vivian Bockelman; and nephew, Phoenix Kinter-Pearce, several cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his father, Jonathan Pearce Sr.; maternal grandparents- Jarvie Goss and Beverly Polites; paternal grandparents- Kenneth Pearce and Grace Pearce; and Uncle Daniel (Skittles) Pearce.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 2 to 6 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer, his funeral service will follow at 6 pm with Pastor John Traxler, officiating. Interment will be made in Rowley Cemetery, Hillsdale, PA.
