Along with the apartment fire, Indiana County’s first responders dealt with other calls for service on Thursday.
About a minute after the call for the apartment fire, a vehicle fire was reported on Indian Springs Road in White Township. Indiana Fire Association released some of their crews along with Creekside and Homer City from the apartment fire to tend to the fire reported at 2:34 PM by Indiana County 911. Officials say a Dodge Ram Pickup caught fire near the drive-in theater.
Crews were also called out for three vehicle crashes. The first was one we reported at 5:16 AM on Route 553 as someone hit a deer. The second was at 11:54 on Route 156 in Armstrong County. Iselin/West Lebanon fire department was called to assist crews from Armstrong County.
The third crash was on Camerons Road in Brush Valley Township at 1:38 PM. Brush Valley, Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police were sent to the scene.
